Both, and we keep them distinct. Positions, houses, twilight and hours are astronomy, verified against the Swiss Ephemeris. Aspects, rulers and daśās are interpretation, drawn from named astrological traditions, and every reading says which tradition it comes from.

We cast a noon chart. Planetary positions hold to within a degree or so. The Ascendant, houses, Part of Fortune and daśā dates depend on the time, so they are left out, and the Moon is drawn across its possible range for the day. Add the time later and everything fills in.

Yes. The downloaded clock is a single HTML file with its astronomy engine built in. It computes the sky from your device's clock and needs no connection.

In your browser, nowhere else. The studio keeps your settings in the page address after the # sign, which browsers never send to a server, and the Constellation keeps its charts in this browser's local storage. A share link carries your birth data unless you choose to share without it.

Tropical with Placidus, Porphyry or Whole Sign houses for the Western layers, and sidereal Lahiri for the Vedic layers: nakshatras, tithi and Vimshottari daśā. Traditional or modern rulerships, true or mean nodes, and Western or Vedic planetary hours are all settings.

Yes. The Constellation holds up to six charts, with layered synastry, composite and Davison charts, and shared transits. Add a chart only with that person's consent. Charts stay in this browser and can be deleted at any time.
